    Odissi

Mina's dance journey is deeply rooted in the rich historical and classical Indian art form of Odissi. With every mudra and posture, she gracefully tells Hindu stories and expresses emotions, embodying the traditional charm and intricate footwork that characterizes this ancient dance. She studied under the renowned Guru Sudha Grover for more than 10 years with whom she completed her Manch Pravesh. Today, she teaches Odissi to young girls and performs throughout the community.

This classical foundation has equipped her to choreograph innovative pieces that showcase her unique perspective, often incorporating angular lines, organic shapes, and soft elegance inspired by her fascination with geometry and rotoscoping animation. Her ballet education has been shaped by esteemed institutions, including Ms. Doreen's Fabulous Feet Dance Studio, Gotta Dance, Kay-Lynn Dance Studio, and Rutgers Mason Gross School of the Arts, where she has honed her skills and continues to build upon her technical proficiency.
